An over-the-range microwave carries its own weight plus the blower, so the mounting plate and upper cabinet have to be right, and the venting has to be set correctly.
Micro-Hoods
Micro-hoods can vent three ways: outside through the wall, up through the roof, or recirculating. The blower has to be physically rotated for each configuration, and the wrong setting means the hood blows straight back at you.
We fit the mounting plate into studs, set the blower orientation for your duct route, hang the unit, secure it into the upper cabinet, and test every fan speed and light before we finish.
